Tragedies like this are reminders that crime is every bit a part of the narrative of Detroit, not just the comeback and the new restaurants.
On Friday morning, Terell Martin-Coleman, 16, was shot and killed in a drive-by at the corner of Roxbury Street and Casino Avenue, Lauren Podell of WDIV reports.
He was standing with his 14-year-old brother when a black vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, the station reports.
