Police are working on a tragic case in Shelby Township.
The Macomb Daily reports that investigators are looking into the death of a 2-year-old boy who was discovered by neighbors in a parked car in the area of Hamlin and Dequindre roads shortly after 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
Neighbors called 911, and the boy was pronounced dead at the emergency room at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, the paper reported.
Police are expected to release more details today.
