Sure, a three-bedroom condo on New York's upper west side might typically sell for around $3.3 million. So, in comparison, we're not in the Manhattan orbit. But Detroit real estate is creeping up there in price.
The latest proof: A three-bedroom, 2,500 square-foot penthouse condo at the Westin Book Cadillac Detroit, with 35-foot ceilings and great views of the city, sold last week for $1,795,000, reports Robin Runyan of Curbed Detroit.
It’s the most expensive home sale this year, after the Charles T. Fisher Mansion, which sold earlier this year for $1.25 million, Curbed notes.
