Kathryn Bigelow's film about the 1967 Detroit riot is adding three rising stars to its case, Julie Hinds of the Detroit Free Press reports.
The untitled film, expected to be released next year during the 50th anniversary of the riots, announced Wednesday that the following actors would be added: Will Poulter, who played a naive teen in the hit comedy "We're the Millers," Ben O’Toole, who co-starred with Russell Crowe in the World War I drama "The Water Diviner," and Jack Reynor, who spent time in Detroit for the filming of "Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Recently it was revealed that John Boyega of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will appear in the film, Hinds writes.
