Murder charges have been filed against four teens in the death of a Warren man who was a passenger in a car that was hit by a sandbag while traveling southbound on I-75 in Toledo on the night of Dec. 19, the Toledo Blade reports.
The sandbag, thrown from an overpass, went through the windshield and struck passenger Marquise Byrd, 22. He died on Friday.
The new charges were added against Pedro Salinas, 13, Sean Carter, 14, Demetrius Wimberly, 14, and William Parker, 14.
Each now faces charges of murder, felony vehicular vandalism and misdemeanor vehicular vandalism.
