West Village Biergarten
West Village's favorite biergarten is back this fall in the same spot Tashmoo occupied. It's rebranded as the West Village Biergarten, though you can expect the same good beer and same good fall beer drinking weather. Also expect goodies from Batch Brewing, Alley Wine, and Voigt's Soda House. Recenly opened Detroit Vegal Soul is around the corner.
Find it on Van Dyke Street, just north of Agnes.
Theatre Bizarre
This longtime Detroit event is back with added events. Theatre Bizzarre brings together the creepy, crazy, fun aspects of Halloween for a weekend full of parties. Expect a masquerade, tight rope walker, and a good helping of gore.

Zoo Boo
The Detroit Zoo opens weekend evenings in October for friendly trick-or-treating. What kid wouldn't want an extra night of trick-or-treating -- especially at the zoo?.
