Yes, it's our favorite time of each week -- the weekend. Here are fun choices:

► Hamtramck Music Festival: Through Sunday with 180 bands at 21 spots. $10 for all days.

 Royal Oak Spring Art Fair: Indoors and free, with 75 artists, plus food trucks, entertainment, beer and wine. Friday until 8 p.m. at the Royal Oak Farmers Market, 316 E. 11 Mile Rd. 

► Motor City Tattoo Expo:  22nd annual gathering at the Detroit Marriot in Renaissance Center, with more than 300 artists.  Noon-11 p,.m. Friday; 11 a.m.- 11 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. Sunday $20 for one day; $30 for a two-day pass and $40 for all days. click. 

► Terry Fator: Singer, comedian and celebrity impressionist at the Fox Theatre. Saturday,  7:30 p.m.  He won Season 2 of "America's Got Talent" in 2007 with singing, comedy and celebrity impressions. $39 to $99.50.

Wynton Marsalis: "Jazz at Lincoln Center" with a 15-piece band paying homage to Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington. Saturday, 8 p.m. at Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor. Tickets start at $16.
