Red Bull House Of Art Opening

The Red Bull House of Art hosts a gallery opening Friday night in honor of its sixth cycle of artists. The free event in Eastern Market will have music, collage, paintings, fiber arts, ink blots . . . and Red Bull, I assume.

Create Your Own Cupcake

Upcoming Hamtramck eatery Cupcak'n is hosting a grand opening event Saturday afternoon. The dessert shop promises "create your own" treats, although cupcakes sound good regardless of who makes them.

Bagger Dave's in downtown Detroit is apparently opening Friday, according the un-celebratory paper sign currently hanging on their door.
