Friday

Saturday
Koi Festival: The Belle Isle Conservancy celebrates Japanese culture and the koi fish collection at the Belle Isle Aquarium. 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Information.
Detroit City FC: Even if you know nothing about soccer, it's worth a trip to check out the scene. The semi-pro team plays its home opener against the Dayton Dynamo at Keyworth Stadium, 3201 Roosevelt St., Hamtramck. "20th Century Women" (film) -- Annette Bening, Greta Gerwig and Elle Fanning star in a comedy-drama about a teenager and the three women in his life who explore love and freedom in late-1970s Southern California.
