Detroit rapper Eminem takes his Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination seriously. He recently tweeted:

Eminem and the MC5 are among 17 nominees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
It's the first time he's been nominated and it's the sixth time on the ballot for the MC5.
Fans can cast ballots at Vote.rockhall.com. You can select up to five nominees daily until April 29. The 2022 winners, to be announced in May and inducted at a fall ceremony, are selected by more than 1,000 artists, historians and other music professionals. The public votes are also figured into the ultimate selection.
Artists must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years ago to be eligble.
Besides Eminem, other first-time nominees include Carly Simon, Dolly Parton, Duran Duran, Lionel Richie, A Tribe Called Quest and Beck. Other artists were nominated multiple times.
