Carol Owens-Dillon's, the ex-wife of state Treasurer Andy Dillon, has dropped her restraining order against Detroit News reporter Leonard Fleming.

In her initial filing with the Wayne County Circuit Court, Owens-Dillon claimed that Fleming was sending her lewd images via text messages and threatening physical harm. Fleming denied the allegations and his attorney threatened to produce evidence showing that Owens-Dillon had made her own threats via text message.

Owens-Dillon said she dropped the protection order because Fleming's attorney said it affects his job, according to the Associated Press.

Owens-Dillon and ex-husband Andy Dillon are also involved in a bizarre series of claims and counter-claims of domestic abuse and defamation charges.
