Ann Arbor has made Amazon's list of Most Well-Read Cities in America.
Ann Arbor ranked 6th on the list.
Alexandria, Va. was first followed by Miami, Knoxville, Seattle and Orlando. The list had 20 cities.
In a press release, Amazon explained that the list was compiled from data of all book, magazine and newspaper sales in both print and Kindle format from April 2013 to April 2014, on a per capita basis in cities with more than 100,000 residents. -- Allan Lengel
