Metro businessman Anthony Soave is proposing to build 89 residential units in a block-long development across the street from the old Tiger Stadium at Michigan and Trumbull, The Detroit News reports.
Detroit-based Soave Enterprises filed plans for four new residential buildings behind the Checker Cab building at 2128 Trumbull, writes Louis Aguilar. Soave owns the cab dispatch center.
Larson Realty is already working on a separate project at the Tiger Stadium site called The Corner, which calls for 105 apartments, 35 townhouses and 35,000-square-feet of retail space, the News reports. The developer awaits approval of a $15-million tax credit so it can begin construction early next year.
