Another Embarrassing Moment: Cop's Personal Car Swiped In Front of Manoogian

Crime has a way of embarrassing Detroit.

Over Labor Day Weekend, someone swiped a U-Haul truck downtown that was being used by the U.S. Secret Service.

Now, comes this.

The Detroit News reports that police are probing the theft of an officer’s personal vehicle on Sunday parked outside the Manoogian Mansion, where Mayor Dave Bing hangs his hat.

"It was the officer's personal vehicle," Detroit Police Sgt. Eren Stephens told the News.
