Love is in the air.
Earlier this week, the boyfriend of Free Press reporter Zlati Meyer came into the newsroom and proposed marriage to her before a crowd.
Now we learn days earlier, in a totally unrelated event, a student proposed at a graduation ceremony for the University of Detroit Mercy Law School.
David Jesse of the Detroit Free Press writes:
Abril Valdes, a 2013 law school graduate, was helping to place an academic hood over her boyfriend's neck when Nicholas Siewert dropped to one knee and proposed.
The answer, of course, was yes.
