Now comes another very funny mock Kickstarter campaign for the city of Detroit. We told you about another one back in January.
Good to see among all the doom and gloom, there's still some humor.
This lastest mock campaign is brought to you by "College Humor Original" and begins with a young man who claims to be Carl Thump, assistant deputy Treasurer for the city of Detroit.
Thump says "we did hear that the Internet is giving away money on this Kickstarter thing. So let's give it a shot."
For a $10 donation, Thump says you can get a real house in the city. For $50, "the Detroit Lions will be your personal wingman at every bar you go to."
For $100, you can decide the dress code for every city employee. He suggests possibly having folks wear Crocs and suspenders.
For $500, they'll remake RobCop staring you as RoboCop. For $506, you can use real ammunition during the filming.
For $1,000, you can design your own city park. Thump suggests you could write your name on the park or even "draw a dick."
And for $3,000, Detroit's own Eminem will rap for you in any situation.
