Atomic Coffee to Fill Royal Oak Spot Where Caribou Was

For a long time now, downtown Royal Oak has been a good place to hang out,  kill time, chat with friends.

One of the better places to hang was Caribou Coffee on Main Street. Then in 2013, the Minnesota-based coffee chain closed that location as part of a nationwide move to downsize.  The place has remained vacant ever since.

Now, Atomic Coffee, owned by Hanna Development and Management of Royal Oak, is moving in that spot, according to Serena Maria Daniels of Metro Times. It apparently opens soon.
