David Page, a partner at the law firm of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, chairman of Southfield-based Meadowbrook Insurance Group Inc. and chairman of the board of trustees at Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation in Detroit, died Tuesday, Crains's Detroit Business reports. Hewas 80.
Crain's Dustin Walsh reports that Page died of complications from an accidental fall in his Bloomfield Hills home.
“David was tireless in his service to clients, to Honigman and to the community. All of us at Honigman consider it a privilege to have worked with him and many were the beneficiaries of his valuable counsel," said Honigman Chairman and CEO David Foltyn, according to Crain's. "He was a man of absolute integrity, moral commitment to do right and incredible judgment.”
Crain's reported that he was chairman and CEO at Allied Supermarkets Inc. in the 1980s and Meadowdale Foods Inc., both based in Detroit, in the 1990s.
He also served as the vice chair of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy and a board member for the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, the Detroit Zoological Society and City Year Detroit, all based in Detroit; and The Jewish Fund and Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, both in Bloomfield Hills.
The Ira Kaufman Chapel website listed a number of organizations and companies he was affiliated with.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea; children Mark, Jason and Sarah; and grandchildren.
Funeral is set for Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Ira Kaufman Chapel in Southfield.
