Authorities have declared that the four-alarm apartment fire on Detroit's northwest side early Wednesday was arson, Fox 2 reports.
Meanwhile, The Detroit News reports that two people of interest were in police custody Thursday in connection with the alleged sexual assault that preceded the fire.
Authorities said the fire at Jason Manor Apartments could have stemmed from the alleged sexual assault under investigation, the News reported.
On Thursday, authorities were searching for six missing people from the apartment.
