Give Kenneth Gutman extra credit for good timing and humor during the Super Bowl telecast.
The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools superintendent waits until halftime to send this heads-up to students, staff and parents among his nearly 8,600 followers:
Sorry to interrupt Justin Timberlake, but Walled Lake Schools is closed tomorrow. We’re concerned about our ability to get buses into subs with snow and dropping temps. Enjoy the game and the day tomorrow!

That came about an hour after the Oakland district's administrator tweeted: "Enjoy the game, but get some sleep and plan on having school tomorrow."

His second social media dispatch earns entertaining replies, including this from Kathy Dullack, a staff member at Glengary Elementary School: "Well aren’t you just the most awesome person in Walled Lake right now?! Thanks boss!"
Here's a sampling of what whats say more than 70 comments in the first 20 minutes, a total that now exceeds 110 responses:
- This was definitely better than Justin.
- Now you're more popular than Justin!
- Come down to the after-party, my guy!
- It’s all good, I 100% forgive you!
- Don't hate you so much after all.
- You made my day.
- Bless your soul.
- I love you.
- My man.
- My nips are hard.
