Mayor Dave Bing may be Detroit's Rodney Dangerfield -- the guy who doesn't get any respect.
It seems when he shows up these day to community meetings, angry cops and citizens follow and heckle him.
Thursday night, it proved too much for Bing.
WDIV reports that a "shouting match and high emotions" at Martin Luther King High School caused the mayor to walk out of the meeting. The station reported that shouts came primarily from cops and their supporters.
“We are not going to continue this meeting if we continue to have outbursts,” said Mayor Bing.
