Fireworks are suspected in a Saturday night blaze that destroyed a St. Claire Shores garage and damaged six homes, Erika Erickson reports on Fox 2 Detroit.
The garage exploded at Christina Valenti's home on Courtland Street Saturday night and her house was in danger. A neighbor's cell phone video captured the flames. Now, the garage is a charred shell.
A shell which looks like it belongs to fireworks was found among the rubble. Investigators believe it may have burned through the garage roof. The cause is still under investigation but the Valentis believe fireworks caused the sudden fire. No one was injured.
