Boy, 4, Drowns in Livonia Hotel Pool

A 4-year-old boy drowned Wednesday at the Embassy Suites hotel at 19525 Victor Parkway in Livonia.

Livonia police said the boy was at the pool with his father, who was not in the water, according to the publication Hometown Life.

He was discovered at the bottom of the pool by an unrelated person who was in the water. That person pulled the boy out and called 911, the publication reports.

Lifesaving efforts were performed at the scene, but the boy was pronounced dead at the hospital.
