An 8-year-old boy has created a product with Lego bricks that helped his family cope with tight finances.
Kato Pratt built Lego cities on the brims of baseball caps, Paula Tutman of WDIV reports, and now the family has made a business of it called "Brickkappz."
The mother was a Realtor and the father was a DJ, and things weren't going well financially. They lost their home in Detroit. So the mother says, they decided to try this business. "Why not," she said.
The family, now living on Detroit's west side, visits festivals and fairs to sell the hats.
