Bridge Wars: Moroun Brings in Big Anti-Tax Crusader Grover Norquist

You've seen him on Meet the Press and every other news talk show, going after politicians who want to raise taxes.

Now, Matty Moroun has gotten him to back his Proposal 6 that would require a statewide vote for a bridge.

Yes, Grover Norquist, Mr. Anti-Tax Crusader, plans to announce today that he's endorsing the proposal, the Detroit News reports.

Interesting move.

Let's see if that moves any voters into Maroun column.

"The proposed NITC bridge from Detroit to Canada is a bad deal for MI taxpayers. That's why MI voters should vote yes on 6," Norquist wrote on his Twitter account Wednesday.
