Crittendon had sued to prevent the city from reaching a financial consent agreement, saying she was only following the law. Bing continually complained that her legal maneuvering was putting the city in financial peril.
She contended the city did not have the authority to reach a financial agreement with the state because the state owes Detroit money. A judge tossed her suit.
