Hey Jimmy Fallon, why not?
That's how Rochester resident Greg Hummel feels.
Paul Kampe of the Oakland Press reports that Hummel launched the Facebook page “Bring ‘The Tonight Show’ to Detroit” Feb. 2. The initiative now has nearly 20,000 online supporters.
“We are a proud city with a rich cultural side that should be focused on with the national spotlight that a show like ‘The Tonight Show’ could bring,” Hummel said via email. “Detroit is not often looked at positively on a national scale, and it should be.”
The Oakland Press reports that the goal is to get Fallon to shoot here for a week. Gov. Rick Snyder even tweeted his support for the move.
