Christine Beatty, former lover and chief of staff for ex-Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, is working hard to rebuild what she lost after getting involved in the infamous sexting scandal.
Beatty has her own radio show on 910 AM. And she's been featured on a on a documentary series on Centric, a BET cable station, called "From the Bottom Up."It's about women who have fallen out of grace and are on “on the verge of a triumphant return.”
Now, Matt Helms of the Detroit Free Press reports that Beatty will appear on an episode of the Steve Harvey show Tuesday at 4 p.m. on WWJ-TV (Channel 62).
Beatty will be among three women featured in a segment based on the series “From the Bottom Up,” Helms reports.
Kilpatrick hasn't had the fortune of trying to rebuild. He is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence in a federal prison in Oklahoma and is hoping the U.S. Supreme will take up his appeal and grant him a new trial.
