Chrysler sold 142,000 vehicles this November, or 19,000 more than they sold in November 2012.

WDIV: Chrysler was led by the new Jeep Cherokee. The company sold more than 10,000 Cherokees in the small crossover SUV's first full month on the market. The Cherokee helped the Jeep brand to a 30 percent sales increase, its best November ever.

Across the board, analysts are expecting a 3%-6% growth in November sales figures over last November.

That's a smaller growth rate than month-to-month sales figures earlier this year, but the doesn't mean growth is slowing. Hurricane Sandy hampered east coast vehicle sales in October 2012, making last November an artificially strong sales month.
