Chuck Rizzo Jr., the former CEO and president of Rizzo Environmental Services, who is at the center of a bribery scandal involving Macomb County officials, could lose his $2.5 million home in Bloomfield Township.
Rizzo, who resigned in October from the company bearing his family name, has never been charged in the case, but so far five public officials have. Last Sep. 30, Rizzo Environmental Services officially became part of GFL (Green For Life) Environmental.
In February, federal prosecutors filed notice that Rizzo's 7,700-square-foot home he purchased i 2013 could be subject to forfeiture, reports John Wisely of the Detroit Free Press reports.
The notice would likely block any sale of the property.
