You have to wonder how Mitt Romney and Barack Obama would do in a debate. Some think they know.
Well, put Detroit 36th District Court Magistrate Sidney Barthwell Jr. in the category of those who think they know. He went to school with Romney at Crankbook and Obama at Harvard Law and thinks Obama would win easily.
"When they debate, Barack will smoke Romney. Mitt Romney is smart. Having said all that, I still think he's going to get smoked," the Detroit News reported, citing the website The Daily.
"The best he can do is hopefully come out not looking like a fool. Mitt will find out the hard way as soon as they have their first debate: You don't debate Obama."
"It's Harvard Law School, so you're not surprised if someone ends up doing something impressive. But even there, it was clear (Obama) was brilliant."
"Mitt was not particularly popular. He was very, very ordinary. He was an average Cranbrook student. He was not an athlete, he was not a student leader, he was not a scholar. The thing that separated Mitt there was that his father was the governor of Michigan."
