made a name for herself (and her suburb) nationally with a series of high-profile scandals starting with her refusal to take swear an oath to uphold the Troy City Charter, then there was the revelation that she used the word "queer" in an anti-gay marriage Facebook rant, then there was her opposition to the federally funded transit center which included reading a 20-minute statement that accused city workers of reading her mail, and then there was the incident where she told high school students that doctors believe "the homosexual lifestyle" is hazardous to one's health--legitimate medical professionals believe no such thing.
Troy voters will decide whether or not to keep Daniels or kick her to the curb in November. -- JTW
