Today might be the one day you'd want to take an elevated train from Greektown to Bricktown, unfortunately the cold weather has shut the People Mover.
WWJ: An advisory sent early Tuesday morning said the People Mover would be closed until further notice, due to “extreme temperatures and the wind chill factor.”
Officials say they will continue to monitor the weather conditions and once those improve, they’ll consider reopening the People Mover.
Weather forecasts predict a wind chill temperature as low as -35 Tuesday.
