Hotel guests at Aloft Detroit at The David Whitney at One Park Avenue in downtown Detroit will get a little taste of The Jetsons, a futuristic, cartoon show that first aired in the early 1960s.
Crain's Detroit business reports that the hotel on Tuesday will demonstrate a robotic butler in the lobby that will assist the front desk with tasks such as bringing water and snacks to guests.
The hotel will also make the robot available for selfies.
Savioke is the Silicon Valley start-up that designed Botlr, the butler.
