Comedian John Oliver rips General Motors with some wicked humor on his new satirical HBO show "Last Week Tonight."

He comments on government stats which show that hundreds of people could have died from defective GM cars. GM has admitted to 13.

"Here's a sign that your corporation is in trouble when the statement 'our product only killed 13 people' is your defense."

On the $35 million fine GM agreed to pay the government, he said:

"Wow. $35 million is a lot of money for a  car company in 1923."

If you have time, the video is worth watching. It's chock full of good, spot-on humor.  -- Allan Lengel
