Detroit is getting a show.

Nellie Andreeva of Deadline Hollywood writes that Comedy Central has ordered up 10-episodes of a pilot, 'Detroiters,' which follows two small-time Detroit ad men who aspire to help turn their hometown back into the glittering jewel of the Midwest that it once was.

The show is executive produced by Jason Sudeikis, who had a long run on Saturday Live.

The new show stars  ex-SNL cast member Tim Robinson and “Veep’s” Sam Richardson, both natives of Metro Detroit. Sudeikis will have a recurring role, Deadline Hollywood reports.

No date has been set for the airing of the show.

"The creative team on Detroiters is so ridiculously funny, we’re not even sure we deserve them,” said Comedy Central’s Kent Alterman, according to Deadline Hollywood.

The website reports that while the pilot was shot on location in Detroit, it’s yet to be determined if the show will be filmed here or or in Los Angeles or New York.
