Como's Pizza in Ferndale said Wednesday it is temporarily closed again, The Detroit News reports.

"We will reopen," George Grego said through a spokeswoman. "We look forward to making pizzas again soon."

Media reports say the restaurant at Woodward Avenue and Nione Mile Road is shut for health code violations.

The closing can only further damage the reputation of the restaurant, which closed in September after the Oakland County Health Department concluded it was unable to maintain a safe and clean environment.

It reopened later in the fall after making upgrades and addressing health code issues.
