Conflict? County Clerk's Husband Is Helping Napoleon Campaign

Steve Neavling of the Motor City Muckraker reports that Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett, who tried unsuccessfully to dump 20,000 Mike Duggan votes in the primary because of clerical error, has a husband who is working as a paid consultant for mayoral candidate Benny Napoleon.

Interesting.

Motor City Muckraker reports that campaign finance reports show that Garrett's husband Keith Williams received $3,000 for consulting in October.

Garrrett has made no secret of her support for Napoleon.

Neavling reports that the Napoleon camp did not respond for comment.  -- Allan Lengel
