Construction is underway on a new downtown retail space, Paul Beshouri reports for Curbed Detroit.
Curbed received confirmation from Ferlito Construction, the builders behind the new project, that sports apparel retailer Gameday Detroit (with a location on Park St.) is connected to the deal.
Construction on the two-story retail space is just across from the Mannequin Building, on Brush St., just south of Gratiot.
"After so many large-scale projects downtown, it's nice to see a classic, small-scale storefront appear," writes Beshouri. -- Danny Fenster
