The Hotel St. Regis, built in the 1960s, which was once one of the premiere hotels in Detroit, may be going condo.

Paul Beshouri of Curbed Detroit writes that a significant chunk of the hotel in Midtown on W. Grand Blvd., is now listed on Auction.com, with bidding scheduled to begin in late April.

Beshouri writes that the "listing pitches the hotel as an ideal condo/apartment conversion. With a prime location on the corner of Woodward Avenue and W. Grand Boulevard, it's hard to disagree."  -- A.L.
