Council Candidate Gets Serious About 'Cleaning Up Detroit;' Rents Bobcat Front Loader

Social worker Francine Adams is running for Detroit City Council, and says she wants to clean up Detroit.

She's serious, reports Alexis Wiley of Fox 2.

Adams has launched a project called "You Don't Have to be Rich to be Clean."

She rented a Bobcat front loader, learned how to use it and went to work on the alley behind her house.  Video from a nearby surveillance camera shows Adams hard at work.  She hauled mattresses and tires and found a hot tub and a boat.

But some neighbors note that Adams' trash seems to have landed on their property.
