A dispute between two moviegoers at the AMC Star Gratiot 21 theater in Clinton Township on Sunday night erupted into gunfire, resulting in one person being wounded, he Macomb Daily reports.
The shooting victim was taken to McLaren Macomb hospital in Mount Clemens and the suspected shooter stayed at the theater and was taken into custody.
"We've recovered the gun,” said Clinton Township police Capt. Richard Maierle tells reporter Mitch Hotts. "We have the victim being stabilized and we have the man we believe is responsible for firing the gun. Everything else is still being investigated."
It's unclear if the men knew each other. The dispute may have been over a woman, an unnamed source at gthe theater tells the paper.
