Create-Your-Own Pasta Bar Restaurant Opens in Downtown Detroit Next Week

Downtown Detroit is about to get another restaurant.

I Luv Cheese, a new fast casual, create-your-own pasta bar, plans to open Sept. 6 at 1368 Broadway in a space that was occupied by Cafe Al Karar, Emma Klug writes at DBusiness. A Clinton Township location at 2028 Hall Rd had a soft opening Monday. 

Customers can choose noodles, sauces, cheeses, herbs and from 50 toppings, such as ham, fried eggs, spinach, lobster tail, tofu, shrimp, steak, mixed olives, sun-dried tomatoes and quinoa.

Both restaurants will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
