Dan Gilbert Snaps Up the Lofts @ Woodward Center in Downtown Detroit

Add the Lofts @ Woodward Center to Dan Gilbert's portfolio.

The Detroit News reports that Gilbert's Bedrock Real Estate Services said Tuesday evening it has bought the Lofts @ Woodward Center, three historic buildings next to each other on the east side of Woodward between Grand River and John R.

The buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the News reports.

The acquisition includes 15,000 square feet of first-floor retail, along with 61 residential units and a 28-space surface parking lot on Farmer Street, the News reports. The lofts are occupied. The storefronts are currently vacant.
