'Dave and Chuck the Freak' Begin on WRIF on May 28

"Dave and Chuck the Freak" made official what we all knew: They will launch their new show on WRIF-FM (101.1). The starting date is May 28 at 6 a.m.

The Detroit Free Press reported that Dave Hunter and Charles Urquhart, host of the show, confirmed it all.

The Freep reported:

“This is incredible to be plain and simple about it,” Hunter said in a phone call that also included co-host Chuck the Freak and Lisa Way. “We just walked through the door moments ago. It’s a career highlight to be here at the legendary WRIF.

“So pumped to be back on the air and to be able to broadcast from this building. It’s still kind of surreal.”
