Hamzah Aljahmi started boxing at the age of 14. Over the weekend, he had his first fight as a professional boxer in Youngstown, Ohio, Josh Landon of Fox 2 reports.
At the end of the fight, he fell to one knee and appeared in pain. He then closed his eyes, and he was rushed to the hospital He died on Tuesday, Fox 2 reports.
"He just collapsed, that's all," cousin Ali Aljahmi tells Fox 2. "That's all I know."
Family and friends believe he suffered a seizure and then fell into a coma.
An autopsy is pending.
