Beer and bikes.
That's what's going on here.
Kristin Bull of Crain's Detroit Business writes that Detroit Bikes LLC will produce 2,415 custom-designed, fat tire bikes to promote the Colorado-based beer of the same name.
Bull writes:
The manufacturer will make the bicycles for New Belgium Brewing Co., brewer of Fat Tire Amber Ale, at its 50,000 square-foot Elmira Street factory on Detroit's west side. Detroit Bikes will add about 10 workers because of the project; the bikes will be ready to ship early next year.
