The Detroit Bus Company is piloting a new airport shuttle service for just $12 each way or $22 round-trip.
The service, called The Hotline, will begin testing November 27, saving many from the metro Detroit tradition of reluctantly driving friends and relatives to the airport.
Metro Detroiters can grab rides from downtown Detroit, Midtown, Ferndale, Royal Oak and Troy. Over 300 people signed up to receive updates about The Hotline in 24 hours, according to a Facebook post.
This is the second company announcing an airport shuttle in the last week. Pending state approval, The Shuttle Company of America will offer rides for $40 round-trip. Off-site limos and taxis charge $45 to $60 one way.
