A sinkhole caused by a west side water main break has become a hazard for students at John R. King school.
WDIV reports that two children have fallen in the hole. That seems scary enough on it's own, but it's made worse in this winter weather because the hole is filled with water.
One child, eight-year-old Dae’Ionna Sparks, had to be rescued by her mother.
WDIV: Sparks didn’t just fall; she was also dumped into freezing water.
“I saw her life flash before my eyes. I was like the Incredible Hulk. All my adrenaline, I just grabbed her,” [mother] Lindsey said.
Good work, mom.
Be careful out there.
