Detroit Schools See Drop in Crime-Related Incidents

The bad news is that Detroit schools could still be a lot safer.

The good news: Crime-related incidents were down 24.7 percent on school grounds in the first three months of 2014, compared to the first three months of school in 2013, reports Tom Greenwood of The Detroit News. 

The DPS Police Department on the district’s schools and buildings, reported incidents dropped from 456 to 343.
